How WattBunker is funded
WattBunker is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com. When you click an Amazon link on this site and buy a product — anything, not just the one we linked — we receive a small commission at no extra cost to you.
That commission funds the editor, the writers, the hosting bill, and the time it takes to compare 17 units against each other. It does not buy us off. We never accept payment from manufacturers in exchange for positive coverage. Manufacturers see our take when readers do.
How it works in practice
- Every Amazon link on this site carries our affiliate tag (
wattbunker-20). - We don't accept manufacturer review samples. If we ever do, the article will say so and the unit will be removed from any "best of" list.
- Pricing shown is checked at publication; live Amazon may differ. We re-check featured units monthly.
- If a product underperforms its spec or has a clear reliability issue in verified-buyer reviews, we say so — even if it would otherwise convert well.
Editorial independence
Our recommendations reflect manufacturer datasheets, Amazon listing data, verified-buyer reviews, and independent third-party reviews when those exist. The Editor's Pick is the unit that came out on top of that comparison, regardless of margin or affiliate payout.
If you suspect a review of being influenced by commercial considerations, write to wattbunker@xerberuz.com. We take this seriously.
